You can deliver your liquid waste either by truck or from any quay at the Port of Esbjerg. These flexible delivery options ensure fast and cost-effective operations. (Note: waste delivered by ship is transferred by truck, as our facility is not directly connected to the quay by pipeline.)

Treatment methods
Our advanced treatment facility ensures safe and compliant handling of hazardous liquid waste. In Esbjerg, we operate a compact chemical-mechanical treatment system - similar to the one at our Copenhagen site - using chemical-mechanical belt filtration. This method enables us to handle a broad range of waste fractions efficiently.
Through these treatment processes, we also produce fuel oil from oil-containing wastewater, effectively turning waste into a usable product. This contributes to the circular economy by enabling oil to be reused for new purposes. Read more about it here.
The treated wastewater is discharged to municipal treatment facilities in full compliance with strict discharge permits and legal requirements. Any residual materials are sent to an approved recipient for final disposal. Read more about our treatment here.
