Business Principles

At Rinaldo Group, acting responsibly is fundamental. Compliance with laws, rules, and regulations in all operational areas is required from both our organization and our partners. Furthermore, we expect everyone in the Rinaldo Group, as well as associated partners, to uphold and act according to high standards of business ethics. Partners associated with the Rinaldo Group are expected to protect confidential information related to business partners and clients, provide accurate and relevant financial reporting, and prioritize fair and ethical conduct in all operations. This document outlines the key points of the Code of Conduct for both the Rinaldo Group and any partners affiliated with the Group.

Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery

Rinaldo Group demands the highest level of integrity from itself and any partners, including subcontractors and any entities acting on behalf of the Group, in all business transactions. Any form of extortion, bribery, or corruption is strictly prohibited, including improper payments. It is expected that all partners have established and maintain policies and procedures to prevent corruption.

Human Rights, Including Labor Rights

Rinaldo Group actively supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on creating decent jobs, fair wages, safe working conditions, and eliminating inequality in the labor market, child labor, and poor health and safety conditions.

Forced Labor

Employees must have the right to leave their position with reasonable notice, as required by national legislation or contract. Rinaldo Group does not accept or support forced labor, debt bondage, involuntary contracts, or involuntary work of any kind.

Child Labor

We respect children's rights to development and education. Therefore, we do not accept any form of child labor. The minimum age for employment is the age of completion of compulsory schooling or 15 years, as defined by applicable national legislation. If individuals over the legal age but under 18 are employed, their health, safety, and moral well-being must be protected. They must not perform work that may be harmful or dangerous.

Non-Discrimination

All employees associated with the Rinaldo Group or its partners must be treated with respect and dignity. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation, race, skin color, gender, political views, age, pregnancy, marital or parental status, religion, or personal characteristics. Employees must be treated fairly, and the workplace must be free of discrimination in all aspects of employment — including recruitment, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination, pension, work conditions, assignments, and benefits.

Health and Safety

Rinaldo Group places high importance on the health and safety of its employees. Health and safety must comply with applicable laws and regulations at all times. Policies and procedures must be in place and maintained to prevent health and safety violations. Appropriate health and safety information, training, and equipment must be made available to all employees. Partners associated with Rinaldo Group must also comply with contractual health and safety obligations. As a minimum, employees must have access to clean drinking water, sanitary toilet facilities, proper ventilation, emergency exits, adequate lighting, and first aid equipment. We expect our partners to continuously improve working conditions and reduce risks and hazards - for example, by setting measurable targets and providing employees with the necessary training.

Working Hours and Compensation

Working hours and compensation must comply with applicable local and national laws and regulations. Employees have the right to sick leave, parental leave, and vacation, as provided by legislation. They must be compensated fairly and never paid below the national minimum wage.

The Environment

Rinaldo Group highly values sustainability. We prioritize sustainable solutions - whether through recycling, upcycling, or disposal - always focusing on environmentally responsible outcomes. We promote environmental responsibility in all aspects of our operations. At a minimum, we expect all partners to comply with current environmental laws and regulations, including relevant permits, licenses, and registrations. We endorse and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals for responsible consumption and production, sustainability, and protection of the marine environment. We actively engage in climate action to support a greener agenda.
